ETNA2020, the network of the Horizon 2020 National Contact Points for ‘Smart, Green and Integrated Transport” is holding a webinar titled

“GDPR & Ethics in Research of Transport”

on Thursday, May 16th , between 11:00-12:00 CET.

Concept: Technological advances such as Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics are becoming increasingly important in Transport.

Ethics and protection of privacy have become key considerations when conducting transport research and play an important role in forming public perceptions on current and future technological developments such as automated and connected driving.

Anticipated Outcomes: Participants to this webinar will acquire a basic understanding of Ethics and GDPR approaches in Research as well as how these are relevant for Transport.  It would be expected that participants will be able to appropriate the knowledge gained into the proposal preparation.

Intended audience: National Contact Points as well as stakeholders interested in learning how ethics and protection of personal data affects research in transport.

Speaker: Dr. Vassilis Stamatopoulos, CIPP/E, PMP. Vassilis is a former NCP for Transport who is currently in-house expert at FORTH/PRAXI Network on Ethics and GDPR as well as member of the Ethics Committee of National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos” and cofounder of SME “Fraud Line” offering compliance and enterprise risk management services.

In order to make this webinar a very practical one, we will be glad to communicate to our speaker IN ADVANCE, any question or particular use case for transport that you would like to focus.  In this case, please e-mail the webinar team:
