The BEAWARE event ‘The Innovation chain – collaborative opportunities for aeronautical organisations in Horizon 2020 and beyond’ organized on the 30th -31st March and 1st April 2015 in Rome within the framework of the FP7 project BEAWARE will run jointly with ETNA PLUS training on IPR.

BEAWARE (www.beaware-aero.eu) has set an objective to support potential projects’ coordinators and partners from Eastern European countries while identifying future R&D opportunities in Aeronautics and Air Transport within the frame of Horizon 2020. In general, the project supports the emergence of EU-wide innovation chains by increasing collaboration through workshops, factory tours and brokerage activities in order to build familiarity and trust towards cooperation between industry and academia from Eastern and Western Europe.

The event will consist of:

  1.   A workshop focused on ‘The Innovation chain – collaborative opportunities for aeronautical organisations in Horizon 2020 and beyond’;
  2.   A brokerage event;
  3.   A training on Intellectual Property Rights and Standardisation Issues in Transport Research, (31st March – whole day);
  4.   Factory tours at the Center for the Development of Materials (CSM), Thales Alenia Space, Selex ES and Vitrociset;
